About Girls...Lets Talk
My Journey and Vision-
I started my journey as a blogger on October 9th, 2023.
I want this to be a safe space where girls can come for advice, tips, and tricks, and entertainment.
I realized I wanted to start a blog after listening to the Girly Girl podcast, by Carmen Applegate. I absolutely loved listening to her, and she was super inspiring to me.
I hope to build a community of strong young women who can look out for and help each other.

A Little About Me-
My pen name is Skylar Heart.
The first thing you should know about me is that I am the oldest of 4 girls, and I have 3 pets, 2 cats and a dog.
I love to read romance books, including Heartstopper and Twilight (Team Edward for sure)
I also love watching Vampire Diaries, and I am head over heels for Damon Salvatore.
I enjoy drawing in my free time. Most of the time I will draw people.
I like pop, country, and musical theater music. I know almost of all the words to the Hamilton songs, and am a HUGE Swifty.
I am super involved in my school, I'm NJHS Co- President, am in Student Council, and I am in so many more clubs.
I love to be active, competitive, and play sports. I play basketball and softball for a rec league, and I love running around and playing outside. I also run, and have ran a 5k.
I LOVE singing, and I am in choir! I also play a little piano.
